Theme Parks

One of the advantages of living in Southern California is the plethora of theme parks within a short distance of me. There is Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland/California Adventure, Legoland, and Seaworld (does this count?).

In the last month I've been to Disneyland twice and Knotts Berry Farm once. I got a season pass to Disneyland a couple months back cause it's relatively inexpensive for Southern California residents, $130 for the cheapest pass that gives you like 180 days you can go. If you just want to buy a one day pass to Disneyland/California Adventure it costs like $80 so I would say the pass is a pretty good deal. A lot of people around here have the passes so we get together and go a bit during the off seasons.

Like I mentioned, I also went to Knotts Berry Farm recently, or to be more exact Knotts Scary Farm, their Halloween rendition of the park. There are tons of haunted houses set up in the park and masked people walking all over the park trying to scare you. I was only startled once when we were walking down a foggy ally and some creature ran out in front of us and skidding by on the shin guards he was wearing.

Moral of the blog, theme parks + fun friends = a good time.

We have a 6 Flags about 40 mins away that I think we'll hang at next summer. But I miss Cedar Point in Ohio, home of some of the scariest, best roller coasters in the world...
